Muslim-Jewish Relations: A Historical and Contemporary Analytical Study
Abstract
The relationship between Muslims and Jews has traversed centuries of cooperation, coexistence, and conflict. From the early encounters in the Arabian Peninsula to the flourishing of Jewish culture under Islamic rule in Andalusia, and from the ruptures of colonial politics to the complexities of modern Middle Eastern tensions, Muslim-Jewish relations remain layered and dynamic. This article offers an analytical exploration of these relations across three dimensions: historical patterns, present-day challenges, and future possibilities. By drawing on religious texts, historical records, and contemporary case studies, the study seeks to clarify misconceptions, highlight shared heritage, and explore opportunities for reconciliation and collaboration in a pluralistic world.
