Abstract

Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thani’s (R.A) epistles highlight the centrality of Islamic identity, urging Muslims to avoid assimilation into non-Islamic cultures. He emphasizes on maintaining Islamic practices, values, and a distinct social structure. Drawing insights from his writings, this paper explains the relevance of the Two-Nation Theory in contemporary times. The teachings of Imam Rabbani (R.A) serve as a guiding principle for preserving the distinct identity of Muslims, which made it possible to demand a separate homeland for them in the Indian subcontinent. The Two-Nation Theory still serves as a vital tool for Muslims to fight against the modern challenges of globalization and secularism.
