Abstract

The Holy Qur’an stands as the ultimate source of divine knowledge, moral guidance, and spiritual enlightenment for all of humanity, particularly for Muslims who regard it as the literal word of Allah (SWT). This paper aims to examine the central importance of the Qur’an in the life of a Muslim, emphasizing its multifaceted influence on faith, behavior, intellectual development, and social ethics. The research explores how the Qur’an serves not only as a spiritual compass but also as a comprehensive framework for personal and collective well-being.

Through a qualitative review of classical Islamic literature, Qur’anic exegesis (Tafsir), and scholarly interpretations, the study reveals that the Qur’an provides an enduring moral code, shaping every dimension of a believer’s existence. From guiding daily conduct to nurturing the intellect and purifying the soul, it forms the foundation of a balanced and meaningful life. The findings reaffirm that living according to Qur’anic principles fosters peace, justice, and compassion, aligning individual purpose with divine will.
